Hitt worked as a reporter and anchor at KTLA from 2010 to 2012, where she received the Golden Mike Award. She was also an anchor and reporter for KOVR in Sacramento (2005-2010).
Hitt flew into Afghanistan to interview injured US troops for the show “Midnight Mission to Afghanistan,” and her work in Sacramento earned her two Emmy Awards. She worked at KMPH in Fresno from 2003 to 2005, where she helped launch the morning newscast “Great Day” and was promoted from reporter to anchor.
