Michelle Margaux Biography
Michelle Margaux is an American reporter she is known for currently working as the host for AT&T SportsNet Southwest. She also worked as a WCC Digital Ground Crew at West Coast Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. Prior to that, from June 2012 to September 2012, Margaux worked as an intern at Fox Sports in San Diego for four months. She spent the year and nine months before that working for USDtv.

Margaux is a Sacramento native who grew up in Northern California. She knew she wanted to work in broadcast journalism since she was a child, and she would pretend to read the news to her mother in front of her playhouse. Margaux used sports as an avenue for her to not feel alone after her parents divorced.
She would come home from school and watch Oakland A’s games because it was the only live program at the time, and she grew to love sports over time. She started watching ESPN in the mornings and observing the anchor’s voice and demeanor.
Margaux served as an intern for Fox Sports and as a Field Producer for KUSI Television’s Prep Pigskin Report during college. She moved to Corpus Christi, Texas after graduation to work as a hybrid news/sports reporter for a local station, where she worked under talent coach Bill Cakmis.
Margaux maintained contact with her previous supervisor at Fox Sports in San Diego, whom she sought guidance from and sent gifts to. Margaux and her colleagues came in second place in the AP Broadcast Awards for “Best Sports Anchor Team” in 2015.
She returned to Fox Sports San Diego in 2016 to work in a number of capacities. She covered the San Diego Padres, Los Angeles Clippers, collegiate basketball, and high school football as a sideline reporter.
Michelle also co-produced Padres POV, a weekly magazine-style broadcast. Margaux worked as a Tampa Bay Rays sideline reporter for Fox Sports Florida from February until October 2018. She has been a Sideline Reporter/Host for AT&T SportsNet Southwest since October 2018.
