Emily Reimer is an American journalist, she is currently working at WCVB as a news anchor. Before joining the station she worked at WSYX-TV and WTTE-TV in Columbus.

Emily previously worked with Randy Price as co-anchor of WCVB’s EyeOpener newscasts (4:30 AM-7 AM). Emily previously co-anchored WCVB Channel 5’s weekend morning newscasts from March 2011 to May 2013, and she returned as an anchor in June 2014. She previously worked as a political reporter for the Columbus, Ohio-based duopolies WSYX-TV and WTTE-TV.
She has covered a wide range of topics during her distinguished career, including daily government and public policy stories, legislative initiatives, election campaigns, and the impact of budget cuts. On the eve of his resignation, Emily secured an exclusive interview with Marc Dann, Ohio’s embattled attorney general.
Emily was also invited to the White House in December 2010 as one of only four reporters from local affiliates across the country to interview President Obama. Emily also enjoyed reporting from Arizona on the Patriots’ Super Bowl victory in 2015, as well as Pope Francis’ historic visit to the United States that same year.
Emily strives to be involved in the community by supporting the local efforts of numerous organizations such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the American Heart Association.
