Donny Deutsch is an American branding and marketing professional, media personality, he is noted for hosting the MSNBC talk show Saturday Night Politics with Donny Deutsch. He also worked at he CNBC talk show The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch.

In 1983, Deutsch started working at David Deutsch Associates, his father’s advertising agency. In 1989, David Deutsch appointed Donny Deutsch as chairman and gave him complete authority over the organization. After renaming the company Deutsch Inc., Deutsch later sold it for $265 million to the Interpublic Group of Companies.
In 2010, Deutsch served as an anchor for MSNBC as well, but he was fired after appearing to disparage Keith Olbermann in a segment.
On the morning chat show Morning Joe on MSNBC, Deutsch frequently makes an appearance as a guest. On the reality television program The Apprentice on NBC, he also made an appearance as a judge. Additionally, he frequently appears in the “The Professionals” portion of the Today Show.
The Nielsen Company reported that Deutsch’s prime-time CNN chat show The Point only attracted 268,000 viewers in April 2013, leading to the show’s cancellation after just one week. On his Comedy Central program, comedian Jon Stewart also made fun of the program.

It was reported in May 2019 that Deutsch would host his own program, Saturday Night Politics with Donny Deutsch, which would air on MSNBC every Saturday at 8 PM.
Tucker Carlson was referred to as a ratings whore by Deutsch during an interview with Nicolle Wallace on January 25, 2022 on MSNBC about Carlson’s remarks regarding the likelihood of American involvement in the crisis in Russia and Ukraine.
