He has worked as the chief medical examiner of the City of New York from 1978-1979 he is also the chairman of the Forensic Pathology Panel of the House Select Committee on Assassinations, which investigated the killing of John F. Kennedy. The conclusions of Baden’s independent autopsy are frequently at odds with the opinions of local authorities.
