She came to ABC 7 from NBC 5 in Chicago, where she had worked as a morning and weekend meteorologist since September 2011.
Scott previously worked as a weekend meteorologist for WBIR-TV, an NBC station in Knoxville, Tennessee. In April 2011, she was on the air when numerous tornadoes ripped through Knoxville. Scott not only served as a crucial source for updating viewers on storm developments and giving critical safety information, but she also offered her time with the Red Cross after the disaster.
She previously worked as a weekend weathercaster at WSEE-TV in Erie, Pennsylvania, in 2007, as well as delivering forecasts for the Caribbean Weather Channel.
