Recede joined the KCRA News team’s Stockton/Modesto Bureau in January 2021. Kay comes to the team with more than six years of reporting experience in Stanislaus and San Joaquin counties, where she had the immense honor and responsibility of speaking to families in the Sacramento region’s south.
She previously worked as a reporter and weekend anchor for the CBS and NBC affiliates in El Paso, Texas, and as a reporter for the NBC affiliate in Eureka, California.
