Garafolo previously worked as a national NFL reporter for USA Today and as a beat writer for The StarLedger in New Jersey for eight seasons, including the Giants’ Super Bowl XLII and XLVI victories. Garafolo received an APSE award for his coverage of the Giants. Garafolo began his career as a producer for Philadelphia’s WIP Radio and as a general sports writer for The Associated Press.
Before joining Fox Sports 1, he was working for USA Today as a national NFL reporter. During his career as a sportscaster, he has also worked for The Star-Ledger in New Jersey as a beat writer where he covered the New York Giants for eight seasons including Super Bowl XLVI and Super Bowl XLII Giant Victories.
Additionally, he is also the recipient of an APSE award for his coverage on the Giants. Mike has also worked for The Associated Press as a general sports writer. Furthermore, he had a kick start in sports journalism while working in Philadelphia for WIP Radio as a producer.
