Kim Iversen made her professional debut after graduation by accepting a position as a promotions coordinator for KWOD in Sacramento. She began her weekend on-air shows for 106.5 KWOD Alternative there, which was a terrific beginning for her career.
Kim moved to New York City in 2006 and began working as a reporter and a VJ for Concert TV at News 12 Network. Additionally, she participated in the Austin Fashion Week and award event, where she had a great time. Later, she collaborated with Big Jake and Kim Iversen as co-host of the morning program The WAZY Wake-Up Crew at Lafayette, Indiana’s WAZY-FM.
After that, in order to present her program Kim Iversen Mornings at WQQB, she relocated to Champaign, Illinois, in 2007. She departed WQQB in 2008. She started working on the Your Time with Kim Iverson program in April 2008, which was broadcast on FM radio stations all around the world. She rose to become one of the few female syndicated hosts.
The program was hailed as participatory, and in addition to taking listener calls, she frequently interviewed celebrities. Many listeners called in to ask her for guidance on their personal affairs. Kim finished in the top 10 of the 2019 Life with Regis and Kelley Women of Radio Co-Host Competition as a semi-finalist.
In January 2013, she received an invitation to guest co-host Loveline for a week alongside Mike Catherwood and Dr. Drew Pinsky. She also started co-hosting The Rendezvous with Simon and Kim on Premiere Networks. Later on in 2011, Kim not only walked the runway for Linda Asaf’s collection, but she also hosted the Austin Fashion Week Awards Show.
She placed in the semifinals of the 2013 Maxim Hometown Hotties contest and was crowned Austin Monthly’s most attractive woman. She started making appearances on The Hill’s Rising in June 2021, and in July 2021, she started serving as a guest cohost on the same program.
