In an Instagram comment that has since spread to Twitter, Jeff Garcia went after Kimes for comments she made about Garoppolo on ESPN’s “First Take.”
Nothing out of the ordinary happened. She simply stated that, while the 49ers have defeated both the Cowboys and the Packers in the postseason, the victories have come despite Garoppolo.
“Jimmy Garoppolo isn’t the reason they’re winning,” Kimes said on Tuesday’s “First Take.” “They’re winning because of him, not because of him… [Against the Packers], he had the second-lowest QBR in 15 years.”
