Chanley moved in with her family in Cleburne County after finishing school. She established her legal business in Heber Springs, where she also held a part-time position as a deputy prosecutor. She made her broadcast debut in 2016 during the realtor Beverly Carter murder trial.
She continued to work as a freelancer while learning the ropes and filling in for reporters under the guidance of Austin Kellerman, the news director for KARK and Fox 16. She eventually got a job as a multimedia reporter full-time.
In addition, Chanley holds a law degree, is admitted to practice in Arkansas and Tennessee, serves as the deputy prosecutor for the 16th Judicial District of Arkansas, serves as the president of the Cleburne County Bar Association, and holds a black belt in Grandmaster Han’s World Youn Wha Ryu Martial Arts.
