Pamela Silva is a Peruvian-American journalist, she is currently working as the co-anchor of the Univision Network’s weekday news magazine, “Primer Impacto”. Silva is also a six-time Emmy award-winning journalist. Silva hosts one of the highest rating programs in the United States and in 12 Latin-American countries.

Silva received a broadcast journalism degree with honors from Florida International University and a graduate certificate in bilingual communications from St. Thomas University. In 2003, Silva started working for Univision as a producer and coordinator of public relations for the WLTV 23 community affairs program “Miami Ahora” (Miami Now). She has served as a guest reporter for the Univision Network programs “El Gordo y La Flaca,” “Despierta America” (Wake-Up America), and “Control.”
She also served as the station spokesperson for WAMI TeleFutura 69 and as the Miami-based reporter for TeleFutura’s “Escandalo TV” (ShowBiz TV). The first local newscast on TeleFutura 69, “Noticias en Noventa” (News in 90), which featured daily highlights of local news, was likewise hosted by Silva Conde. She worked as an official Miami Dolphins cheerleader.
In 2005, Silva returned to the Univision Miami affiliate news team as an entertainment anchor and reporter. She quickly advanced to the position of main anchor for “Noticias 23 Al Amanecer,” the top Spanish-language morning newscast in South Florida, where she regularly provided coverage for WLTV Univision 23 and WAMI TeleFutura 69.
In addition to her responsibilities as a news anchor, she also worked as a national correspondent for the investigative newsmagazine “Aqui y Ahora,” with which she still works today, on special feature and investigative pieces.
She earned her first Emmy for on-camera work in 2006, and she went on to win three more in 2007 for writing, news feature stories, and human interest stories. Thereafter, a feature article about Facebook won a 2009 Emmy and a 2010 Feature News Report Emmy.
Additionally, she was honored by the Florida International University Alumni Association as a Distinguished Alumna from the School of Journalism and Mass Communications. Silva won an Emmy for Feature News Report in 2010. She was selected as one of the top 50 women in 2013 by People en Espaol. She accepted an offer to co-host The View on the ABC Network in May 2013.
