Hayley’s life has always revolved around sports, but her sports broadcasting career truly began in 2014, when she won the Miss Tennessee title. While attending college in Nashville, Hayley competed for Miss America and finished in the top ten out of 53 competitors.
As Miss Tennessee, she traveled over 80,000 miles and spoke to over 50,000 school children about character and respect as the governor’s Official Spokesperson for Character Education. Hayley’s time as Miss Tennessee included numerous spokesperson roles and TV appearances, which prepared her for her current career.
She worked for WKRN News 2 in Nashville, where she attended Belmont University, before moving to Oregon. She worked as an intern for Belmont University, Vanderbilt University, and Middle Tennessee, covering sporting events.
She also covered games across the Ohio Valley Conference for Belmont Athletics and the Ohio Valley Conference. She also covered the TSSAA State Championship tournament, the OVC tournament, and the NCAA Tournament Selection Show for ESPNU, ABC, and radio sports shows.
