Ulrika Jonsson is a Swedish-British media personality and model, she is known for a TV-am weather presenter and later worked on the ITV show Gladiators.

Jonsson started her broadcast career on TV-am in 1989 as a weather presenter on Good Morning Britain after working as a secretary. She began providing weather updates for Swedish TV3 from London on September 12, 1989. She and Richard Cartridge co-hosted the brief-lived daytime quiz show Who’s Bluffing Who? on BBC One in 1991, and she also acted in the French film The Annunciation of Marie. She transitioned into mainstream presenting in 1992 and hosted a number of programmes on.
During this time, she modeled for Playtex Lingerie and captained her team on the BBC TV game show Shooting Stars. She had an interview with John Major in 1997 for the BBC 2 program The Enormous Election. For her program Ulrika in Euroland in 1998, she conducted an interview with Gordon Brown, who was the Chancellor of the Exchequer at the time.
She made an appearance on the Channel 4 confessional TV program Ulrika: Am I a Sex Addict? on March 20, 2007. The program followed Jonsson’s own quest to learn the truth about sex addiction. She has made an appearance on Would I Lie To You? on BBC One. She made an appearance on the first episode of Piers Morgan’s Life Stories on ITV in March 2009. The show featured one celebrity per episode who was interviewed by Morgan in-depth about their lives.
Jonsson participated in Channel 4’s Celebrity Big Brother in January 2009. She ultimately prevailed in the final on January 23 with 57% of the vote. As the contestants heard the results, Jonsson said, “Oh my god, that’s bonkers.”
She had been put forward for eviction by her housemates on each occasion, first by the “head of the house,” Terry Christian, and then by other inmates, but she had made it via the public vote five times.
