Hilaria Baldwin Career
Hilaria began practicing yoga at the age of 20. While attending New York University, Baldwin and Michael “Mike” Patton founded Yoga Vida in the West Village of New York City in 2009, with three additional sites in the Noho, DUMBO, and Tribeca neighborhoods. In 2016, the Tribeca Citizen reported that their facility offered “pre- and post-natal, restorative, and heated by infrared light” programs.
Spencer Wolff, a former student in one of her classes, sued Hilaria in Manhattan Supreme Court in 2013 for an alleged injury he received in the class. A year later, the lawsuit was settled, with Wolff signing a non-disclosure agreement. Hilaria joined the entertainment show as a lifestyle correspondent in 2012, after marrying Alec.
Hilaria produced a fitness DVD called @ Home with Hilaria Baldwin: Fit Mommy-to-Be Prenatal Yoga in October 2013. During a five-minute “bonus portion,” Alec appears. Baldwin was dubbed the “Gwyneth Paltrow” of New York City by El Pas in June 2014, referring to her status as a working rich mother.
The Living Clearly Method, written by Baldwin, was published in December 2016. When the book was first published, Baldwin created a companion website with the same name to promote it. Baldwin received the Wellness Foundation’s Illumination Award in 2017 during the organization’s Hamptons summer event.
Hilaria and podcaster Daphne Oz launched Mom Brain, a motherhood-focused podcast, in 2018. It’s “a deep-dive into every single corner of parenthood, spanning from the serious to the humorous, and everything in between,” according to Refinery29.
In December 2018, the two hosts appeared on the Today show to discuss the initiative, followed by The Rachael Ray Show in November of that year. Hilaria had not filmed any further episodes since the charges of cultural appropriation began in December 2020, as of May 2021.
