Maos had never considered becoming a fitness model until she was 25, when she began following other fitness models. She discovered how all of the fitness models who are popular on Instagram.
In 2010, she paid her monthly gym membership and attended five training sessions per week. The main goal she set for herself was to sculpt her body so she could be confident in it, but she fell in love with exercise.
Day by day, she grew more confident in what she was doing, and in 2011, she entered her first competition, the Arnold Classic, but did not place well, but she returned the following year and finished sixth. That same year, Alice competed in her first IFBB Brazilian Championship, finishing fifth, but winning the title a few years later, in 2015.
She was signed by a prestigious Brazilian modeling agency and has since appeared on the cover pages of numerous popular fitness magazines, as well as in advertisements and commercials for bikini brands and internationally recognized clothing companies. Matos created her own clothing line, Labellamafia.
