She also hosts Market Now, CNN’s weekly streaming business show, on a regular basis.

In 2007, Kosik started working for CNN. She’s covered major economic and financial events such as the bankruptcy of investment bank Lehman Brothers, which launched an international banking crisis, the wave of home foreclosures caused by the collapse of the subprime mortgage market, and the stock market’s spectacular declines.

During the economic crisis, Kosik led viewers through the Federal Reserve’s historic movements and helped them understand hard issues like quantitative easing and credit default swaps. She’s also covered some of the most significant initial public offers (IPOs) since the financial crisis, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Alibaba, as well as global market-moving topics like Brexit and the European debt crisis.

Before joining CNN, Kosik worked as an investigative reporter for Bloomberg News and WCBS-TV in New York. Kosik formerly worked as a reporter/anchor for the Sinclair Broadcast Group in Washington, DC, and as a reporter for Hearst-Argyle Television in Washington, DC, before joining WCBS. She covered the energy sector, energy policy, and the politics of the energy industry from the nation’s capital as a Capitol Hill Correspondent for EnergyNewsLive.com.

Kosik worked as a reporter and fill-in anchor for WPEC-TV/WFLX-TV in West Palm Beach, Florida, after starting her career as a reporter/anchor at KZTV-TV and KRIS-TV in Corpus Christi, Texas. In 2001, she received a Scripps Howard New Media Fellowship from Columbia University. She was also named a Fellow of the International Radio and Television Society in 1993 and got a Florida Associated Press Award for Best Spot News in 1999.
