Amy Lawrence is an American sports journalist and radio host, she is known for hosting CBS Radio: “After Hours with Amy Lawrence.” Before joining CBS she worked at ESPN radio for nine years as the only female host.

Lawrence spent nine years at ESPN Radio, where she was the only regular female host, before joining CBS in January 2013. Providence, RI; Lebanon, NH; Rochester, NY; and Oklahoma City, OK, where she was the first female in state history to pilot her own sports radio talk show, are among her local radio stops.
Over the past 15 years, Lawrence has handled basketball play-by-play and color duties for various radio and TV outlets, and she was the voice of the University of Hartford women’s basketball team for six seasons (2008-14).
She recently called her first two Westwood One Radio Network games, including an NCAA Tournament Regional Final. She earned bachelor’s degrees in Communications and Accounting from Messiah College before going on to earn a master’s degree in TV and radio from Syracuse University.
Lawrence was named one of Talkers Magazine’s “100 Most Important Sports Talk Radio Hosts in America” for 2015, and she was the only female on the list.
