She also finished meteorology courses and was given the American Meteorological Society’s mark of approval.
Las Vegas Electronic Media Awards’ “Best On-Air Talent” and “Best Weathercaster” awards are only two of the broadcasting accolades she has received. Additionally, she received awards from the Philadelphia Weekly and Philadelphia Magazine for “Best Weathervane” and “Best Weathercaster,” respectively.
Ms. Tynan finished in the top ten of her age category in the 2003 Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii. She has run a marathon four times in under three hours. She got married in April 2005, and in recent years, she has limited her competitions to regional charity runs to help the Delaware Valley’s deserving causes.
