Dan Abrams is an American entrepreneur and tv correspondent and author, he is currently working at News Nation as the host of the prime-time show Dan Abrams Live.

Dan began his career as a Court TV reporter, where he became well-known for his coverage of the OJ Simpson trial. He went on to cover many of the most high-profile trials of the last few decades, including the International War Crimes Tribunal in The Netherlands, Dr. Jack Kervorkian’s assisted suicide trials in Michigan, Bush v. Gore, and the Scott Peterson murder trial.
Dan went on to work as a legal correspondent for NBC after leaving Court TV. He later hosted MSNBC’s “The Abrams Report” and the critically acclaimed “Verdict with Dan Abrams.” Dan served as MSNBC’s General Manager from 2006 to the end of 2007, presiding over a period of unprecedented growth, with ratings and profits both increasing by more than 50% during his tenure. Dan was also a member of the NBC Universal President’s Council at the time.
Dan left NBC in 2011 to become Chief Legal Analyst at ABC, where he also co-anchored “Nightline.” Dan hosted the top-rated cable series “Live PD” on A&E Network from 2016 to 2020.
