Dani Beckstrom Biography
Dani Beckstrom is an American news anchor and meteorologist who works for KTNV-TV in Florida. Dani joined the KTNV meteorology team in June 2019 following years of hurricane coverage at our Scripps sister station in Fort Myers, FL.

Dani attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where she majored in Broadcast Journalism. Dani fell in love with being on the sidelines of football and basketball games as a member of the BYU Cheer Squad, and she went on to work as a sports reporter, anchor, and producer for the nationally famous KBYU Eleven News Team.

Dani’s last day at Fox 4 was the 24th of May, 2019. She’s heading west for a terrific opportunity at a sister station of E.W. Scripps in Las Vegas, which will also bring her closer to family.

After years of covering hurricanes at our Scripps sister station in Fort Myers, FL, Beckstrom joined KTNV’s team of meteorologists in June 2019. She’s looking forward to keeping the heat while escaping the humidity in Las Vegas.
Dani accepted her first-weekend weather job after graduating in Eastern Idaho, where she also reported and spent time on the anchor desk during the week. Even with a variety of experiences ranging from interviewing Mitt Romney to being asked to join a local roller derby club.
Dani discovered that she felt most at ease when she was outside in the weather. She subsequently got a morning weather job in her hometown of Boise, Idaho, and opted to return to school to obtain her meteorological certification from Mississippi State University, which she completed in August 2018.
She’s ready for her next adventure predicting hurricanes instead of snowstorms, as much as she enjoyed being back home forecasting weather in the city where she grew up! She’s most excited to see everything Florida has to offer and spend the entire weekend relaxing on the beach.
