She is Nashville’s first full-time female sports radio presenter on 104.5 The Zone, in addition to her sideline responsibilities. Prior to this, she spent over ten years hosting the morning show for WKRN-ABC in Nashville, Tennessee. Davenport worked for the station as a weekend sports anchor and reporter before joining the three-hour morning newscast.
Davenport began her career as a sports reporter at WWAY-ABC in Wilmington, North Carolina, and later moved on to WRIC-ABC in Richmond, Virginia, where she worked for a team that twice won the AP Award for Best Year-Round Sports Coverage. Additionally, she worked events for CSS Sports in Atlanta and the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA).
On the volleyball team, Davenport was a three-year letterwinner and a two-time SEC Academic All-American.
