Dr. Tara Narula is an American doctor, she is currently working as a medical correspondent for CNN. She reports on all CNN platforms and is based in New York. Before joining the news network she worked at CBS News as the senior medical correspondent.

She is a board-certified cardiologist at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City and an associate professor of cardiovascular medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. She is also the associate director of the Women’s Heart Program at Lenox Hill Hospital.
Dr. Narula also the associate director of Lenox Hill Hospital’s Women’s Heart Program. She joined the Lenox Hill Heart & Vascular Institute of New York in 2010 and works as an outpatient consultant. She also holds board certifications in nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, and internal medicine.
Sun Juice Inc. was her own small business, and she was the founder and CEO. She then earned her medical degree from the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine, where she graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha Society Honors.
Dr. Narula completed her residency in internal medicine at Harvard University/Brigham and Women’s Hospital and her cardiology fellowship at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center.
