Edie Lambert is an American journalist, she is currently working as news anchor for KCRA 3. Before joining the station she worked at KEYT as a news anchor in Santa Barabara.

Lambert is an Emmy Award-winning journalist who anchors KCRA 3’s weeknight newscasts. Previously, Edie worked as a morning and weekend anchor, as well as covering hundreds of stories in the Sacramento area. Highlights include two interviews with President Barack Obama, one with Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, and givingl-to-gavel coverage of the Scott Peterson trial for KCRA and MSNBC’s The Abrams Report.
She leads political coverage, reporting from national political conventions, interviewing leading candidates for profile stories, and providing context and analysis while anchoring election night coverage.
Her work has received numerous awards, including four Emmy® Awards for writing and anchoring, as well as numerous Emmy nominations, and for many years, viewers have voted her “Best of Sacramento” in the media category of Sacramento Magazine.
She has served as an emcee for a number of community events and has received community service awards from the National Association of Women Business Owners and the Alliance for Women in Media.
Lambert began her television career as an anchor, reporter, and producer for KEYT in Santa Barbara. While still in college, she worked as an anchor/reporter for KTMS-AM radio news.
