Graham Norton is an Irish comedian, actor, author and media personality, he is known for his comedy chat show The Graham Norton Show.

In 2001, Norton made his BBC debut as the Comic Relief 2001 host. Graham Norton’s Bigger Picture, a new comic chat show, and the Saturday night reality TV series Strictly Dance Fever on BBC One were both hosted by Norton after he joined the BBC in 2005. Additionally, he occasionally performed bedtime hour readings on the BBC children’s channel CBeebies.
Andrew Lloyd Webber searched for a lead actress for his West End production of The Sound of Music on the BBC One series How Do You Solve a Problem like Maria?, which Norton hosted in 2006.
Norton has now released the following three follow-up series: I’d Do Anything in 2008; Any Dream Will Do in 2007, both of which featured male contestants competing for the part of Joseph in the West End production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
The Graham Norton Show, Norton’s talk show, debuted on BBC Two on February 22nd, 2007. His past Channel 4 programmes’ formats are remarkably similar to this one. The show changed to a new one-hour format and relocated to BBC One on October 6, 2009.
In February 2019, it was revealed that Norton would alternate with Alan Carr as a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. RuPaul and Michelle Visage, who serve as permanent judges, joined Norton and Carr.
