Hannah Battah is a well-known American journalist, she is currently working for FOX 4 News. She previously worked at an NBC-affiliate in Columbia, Mo. as a general assignment Reporter and Anchor.

She co-anchors Fox 4’s Good Day newscasts with Brandon Todd from 4-6 a.m. She also works on a different story in greater depth every day, reporting for Good Day from 6 to 10 a.m. Battah joined Fox 4 in June 2018 as a weekend morning anchor on the Good Day team, and three months later she was promoted to the weekday Good Day team.
Battah relocated to Texas from Bakersfield, California, where she worked as an afternoon anchor and evening reporter for KBAK/KBFX. Every day, I had to play multiple roles, such as producing newscasts, shooting video, and editing my own stories. She covered local politics, breaking news, and statewide issues there.
She traveled to Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties in 2017 to cover the state’s largest wildfire in state history. Battah worked alongside fire crews in full gear to get up close and personal with the flames. I’d covered several brush and wildfires before, but nothing prepared me for the devastation caused by the inferno that raged for months along the coast.
Battah began her career in news in Missouri before moving to California’s central valley. However, she did not begin on television. In Jefferson City, she covered state politics for radio stations in St. Louis, Kansas City, and Springfield. Battah enjoyed pursuing lawmakers for assignments and learning from veteran Reporters who consistently pushed to dig deeper into stories. In college, she briefly covered sports for the campus television station, MUTV. Her first story was about the Mizzou volleyball team’s newest members. I didn’t realize it at the time, but one of the teammates I covered later became my best friend.
