In August 2008, it was announced that Mae would join MLB Network as a host/reporter. She has appeared on the channel’s Hot Stove, MLB Tonight, 30 Clubs in 30 Days, and Quick Pitch since 2009, as well as hosting the re-airing of Mark Buehrle’s perfect game.
Hazel announced her departure from MLB Network and return to Sportsnet on September 19, 2011. On-air during the Toronto Maple Leafs game on November 3, it was announced that she would make her debut on Sportsnet Connected at 6 p.m. on November 14.
