Heather Kovar is an American journalist, she is known for working at CBS6 as a news anchor. She joined the station in May 2023. Kovar returned to the station after a mishap of recently slurring live on-air which caused her to be cut off and later suspended.

The journalist joined the Bryan, Texas-based CBS affiliate in late May and is currently hosting Saturday and Sunday shows at KBTX. Houston is located around 100 miles northwest of Bryan.
After seeming confused on air last summer, she quit CBS6 Albany and the surrounding area. She had been traveling frequently between Texas and Albany at the time to take care of her ailing mother as her father had just recently gone away. Kovar claimed that the lack of sleep and exhaustion eventually caught up with her and caused the conduct.

When she recognized her error, she bizarrely said that Craig Gold was working a double shift like herself. However, she continues to slur, even presenting meteorologist Craig Gold as Craig Adams. She eventually had a phrase interrupted midway through the program.
