On February 6, 2017, Hill and Smith were named the SportsCenter evening hosts. “SC6 with Michael and Jemele” was the name of their SportsCenter segment, which aired at 6 o’clock. She was hired as a staff writer at The Atlantic on October 1, 2018, according to an announcement made on that day.
Hill debuted her sports, politics, and culture-focused podcast, Jemele Hill is Unbothered, on April 15.Twice a week, new episodes are released on Spotify. Hill claims that the discussion of sports on the podcasts “covers those tricky intersections: race, gender, politics.”
