Jenn Bernstein is an American journalist, she currently anchors FOX61 News at 4 and 10 p.m. She re-joined the FOX61 team in August of 2014.

At 4 and 10 p.m., Bernstein hosts FOX61 News. As the host of “The Real Story,” which airs on Sundays at 10 a.m., she also covers Connecticut politics. Jenn received an Emmy nomination in 2015 for her article “Anatomy of An Attack Ad,” which examined the political advertising used in Connecticut’s divisive governor’s race.
In August 2014, Jenn re-joined the FOX61 staff. From 2010 through 2012, the Simsbury native worked for the station as a general assignment correspondent. Jenn was nominated for an Emmy at the time for a series of articles she produced on bullying in schools. In her two years, she also encountered severe weather events to cover.
She provided live coverage of the 2010 blizzard. In 2011, when Tropical Storm Irene reached Connecticut, Jenn reported from the beach in Fairfield. Two months later, She was live on the Berlin Turnpike as Connecticut experienced a Nor’easter in October that caused over 900,000 houses to lose power.
Jenn also has a political focus, covering the 2010 governor’s race between Democrats Dan Malloy and Republicans Tom Foley. She also served as an adjunct graduate journalism professor at Quinnipiac University during this time.
Jenn continued to work as a reporter for KYW, the Philadelphia-based CBS affiliate from 2012 through 2014. She covered the aftermath of the Penn State sex abuse scandal there. In order to chronicle the hurricane Sandy preparations, she also camped out in Atlantic City. She aired live coverage from the beach on the day the hurricane made landfall for KYW and WCBS in New York City as waves slammed Steel Pier and the city was devastated by flooding that submerged most of it.
She covered the destruction caused by Sandy during the ensuing weeks. Jenn, who was escorted by The National Guard, provided updates on the cleanup activities from Long Beach Island. She provided CBS This Morning with a number of live reports. Additionally, CBS affiliates around the nation aired her work. Jenn previously worked in television markets in Buffalo and Albany before moving to Connecticut and Philadelphia.
