In 2011, he commenced the season as the second-string quarterback, culminating with seven starts. Registering a QBR of 113.80, he achieved this feat by connecting on 108 passes out of 216 attempts, amassing 1,524 yards, delivering nine passing touchdowns, and encountering ten interceptions.
