Julia Bradbury is an Irish-born English media personality, she is known for working at BBC. She mainly specializes on documentaries and consumer affairs.

Bradbury began her career as a television host with Chrysalis TV, then moved on to L!VE TV, before switching from cable to terrestrial television in 1996 to work as GMTV’s Los Angeles reporter. In the 1990s, Bradbury also served as a co-host on Top Gear.

Are We Being Served? was a six-part BBC series that studied customer service in the UK and was hosted by Bradbury and Arkin Salih in the summer of 2006. Later, during his appearance on TV Heaven, Telly Hell, comedian Lee Mack harshly criticized the broadcast, calling it “the most evil program ever made.”

Bradbury hosted four seasons of Kill It, Cook It, Eat It on BBC Three between 2008 and 2011. The first season focused on animals that were raised for commercial purposes, including chickens, pigs, sheep, and cattle.

The second series included wild game that had been hunted, including grouse, deer, ducks, and rabbits. The third season’s theme was fast food, and a group of six participants went through the slaughtering, preparing, and eating of several animals.

Rock climber Tim Emmett and Bradbury hosted Ultimate Britain – Climbing on BBC One in August 2007. When the two successfully ascended Cornwall’s Commando Ridge, Crackstone Rib in the Llanberis Pass, and the Old Man of Stoer, Bradbury fulfilled his lifelong dream of becoming a “real” rock climber.

In addition to presenting Wainwright Walks on BBC Four that year, Bradbury also walked the mountain trails penned by famed fell walker and guidebook author Alfred Wainwright. The show had two seasons and was later rerun on BBC Two. She was given the nickname “Walking Man’s Totty” for her roles in both this and the Railway Walks series. Her BBC Two series Coast to Coast premiered on July 20th, 2009.

Bradbury and Ben Shephard co-presented the two-part ITV programme Mystery Map in 2013. She hosted the summertime replacement for The Chase, the teatime quiz program Take On the Twisters, the same year.

The Wonder of Britain was an ITV primetime series that Bradbury hosted in 2015. 2016 saw the launch of Julia Bradbury’s own eight-part ITV series Best Walks with a View. Along with the series, a book called Unforgettable Walks was produced.
