Kristine Leahy is a well-known media personality, she is currently working at NBC as the host of American Ninja Warrior. Prior to joining the station she worked at FOX Sports as the co-host The Herd with Colin Cowherd, she also worked as an anchor for KCBS-TV in Los Angeles.

Kristine previously worked for the CBS and Turner Sports Family for two and a half years, working the sidelines for March Madness and CBS Sports’ regular season college football and basketball packages. After college, Leahy worked at the Boston sports radio station WEEI. After two years at WEEI, she moved on to become an official reporter for the Boston Celtics and Celtics.com. She went on to work for FOX Boston, where she covered all Boston-area sports teams.
Leahy relocated to Los Angeles in 2012 and has covered a wide range of sports, most notably as a sideline reporter for Turner Sports’ March Madness coverage. She worked for a number of CBS Sports affiliates, including the local CBS Los Angeles news.
Leahy later worked as a sideline reporter for NBC’s American Ninja Warrior. She joined former ESPN Radio host Colin Cowherd on his new show after his departure to FOX in September 2015. Cowherd attributed Leahy’s addition to the show to a lack of female voices in sports talk radio, as well as Leahy’s history of developing useful sources as a sports journalist.
On The Herd with Colin Cowherd on May 17, 2017, Leahy received potentially sexist remarks from LaVar Ball. He never looked at Leahy during the entire interview, as if he was only interested in speaking with Colin Cowherd on the other side of the studio. When Leahy asked Ball how many shoes he had sold, he replied, “Stay in your lane.”
