Larra grew up in New Albany, Indiana, and went to Indiana University, where she competed in track and field and cross country, winning several NCAA Championships. After graduating from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in Sport Communication, Marketing, and Management, she began her broadcasting career at Fox41 WDRB in Louisville, KY.
Larra went on to work as a weekend sports anchor and reporter for WTWO in Terre Haute. Larra also worked as a sideline reporter for Big Ten Network’s college football coverage at the time. In 2010, Larra relocated to Indianapolis and began working for the Pacers, Fox Sports, and the National Sports Journalism Center.
She started as a freelance traffic reporter for Fox59 in 2012, then moved to the Fox59 Morning Show full-time in 2014, before moving into the sports department in 2016. Larra also works as a track and field analyst for ESPN and the SEC Network in addition to her role with Fox59.
