Laurie Gelman is a Canadian media personality and writer, she is known for working on Canadian talk shows The Mom Show and Doctor in the House. The Canadian-born reporter began her career as a traffic reporter at CKFM Radio in Toronto.

She has also been on Good Morning America, Good Morning America Sunday, and CBS Early Show.
In 2017, she released the amusing novel Class Mom. The book was a finalist for the Stephen Leacock Memorial Medal for Humour in 2018, and it also won the Vine Award for Canadian Jewish Literature. Following it were the sequels You’ve Been Volunteered (2019) and Yoga Pant Nation (2020). (2021). Her novel Smells Like Tween Spirit will be released in 2022.
