Leslie Roberts is a Canadian journalist, he is currently working as the CTV as the host of CTV Morning Live. Before joining the station he worked as a radio talk show host in Montreal.

Leslie, a fourth-generation journalist/broadcaster, began his career as a radio reporter covering the Quebec referendum before transitioning to television as a morning show host. Leslie went on to work in TV newsrooms in New York City and Toronto over the years.
From 2001 to 2015, Roberts was the executive editor and anchor for Global Toronto, hosting the station’s News Hour from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and co-anchoring Global and Shaw Media’s The Morning Show from 2013 to 2015.
During that time, he also hosted his own radio talk show on CFRB in Toronto, was a daily contributor to AM640 Toronto, and wrote his own column, “The Five Things I Learned This Week,” for the National Post.
Roberts was hired by CanWest’s Toronto division in September 2001 to co-anchor the station’s supper time news show with Beverly Thomson. Roberts arrived just a week before the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Meteorologist Michael Kuss and sports director Jim Tatti were on the news team. Former CITY-TV anchor Anne Mroczkowski served as his co-anchor from June 2010 to August 2013.
From August 2013 until his resignation, Roberts was the show’s sole anchor. For several years, he also hosted Global Ontario’s 11 p.m. newscast. In addition, he co-hosted Focus Ontario, the country’s longest-running political show, with former Ontario Progressive Conservative leader John Tory, now Mayor of Toronto.
