Linus Sebastian is a Canadian youtuber, he is known for his channel which covers technology, especially Linus Tech Tips. His channel has amassed 26 million followers he is also the founder of Linus Media Group Inc. and has been its CEO since 2013.

Sebastian worked for the now-defunct Canadian online computer retailer NCIX. The company asked him to host its technology channel, which was created to help demonstrate products.

Linus Tech Tips, TechLinked, and Techquickie were hacked and subsequently terminated due to a security breach on March 23, 2023. The hackers then changed the channel names, renaming the main channel Tesla, and began broadcasting two identical live streams that appeared to show deepfakes of Elon Musk, Jack Dorsey, and others discussing Ethereum, GPT-4, and other topics.
