Lonnie Quinn is an American journalist, he is known for working at WCBS-TV as the lead weather anchor in New York City. Before joining the station he worked at WTVJ, in Miami for five years. Quinn joined WCBS-TV in 2007.

Quinn’s first newsroom job after transitioning from acting to broadcasting was at WVIR in Charlottesville, Virginia. Quinn worked closely with Max Mayfield at the National Hurricane Center for five years. He also joined the “Hurricane Hunters” as they flew through the eye of “Isabel” off the coast of North Carolina, gathering data. Quinn is a private pilot who also holds an FAA meteorology certification.
