Lynette Romero is an American journalist, she is known for working at NBC4 as a news anchor. Before joining the news station she worked at KTLA and KUSA. Romero joined NBC4 in October 2022.

Romero comes to NBC4 after a long career at KTLA-TV in Los Angeles, where she anchored and reported in nearly every newscast, including as weekend anchor of the station’s morning news.
Prior to that, she spent ten years as an anchor and reporter at NBC affiliate KUSA-TV in Denver, where she covered the 1993 papal visit, the Waco standoff, and the Oklahoma City Federal Building bombing.
Romero comes to NBC4 with over three decades of news experience and dozens of community awards and accolades. Many of Southern California’s biggest stories have been covered by her versatility and in-depth reporting.
She has reported and produced numerous programs and specials both in front and behind the camera, including assignments in Mexico, El Salvador, Italy, and the Czech Republic.
She has six LA Area Emmy Awards, including one for best feature news reporting, as well as numerous Golden Mike Awards from the Radio and Television National News Association of Southern California for her work as an anchor, reporter, and producer. Lynette received the prestigious Excellence in Broadcast Journalism Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition in 2015.
