Maurielle Lue is an American journalist, she is currently working as a news anchor for FOX 2. Before joining the station she worked at ESPN.

Lue is an Emmy Award-winning reporter, The Nine host, and FOX 2 News Team morning anchor. She escorted me to the “D” from WEWS, an ABC affiliate in Cleveland, Ohio. She had the opportunity to work on some truly unforgettable stories while in Cleveland.
Lue spent many days and nights reporting from the front lines of Imperial Avenue, the home of the infamous “Cleveland Strangler,” a man convicted of murdering nearly a dozen women and concealing their bodies inside his home.
She was also in Cleveland when the unthinkable occurred… Yes, I’m referring to LeBron James’ departure. When the king took his talents to South Beach, she reported for ESPN and watched as Clevelanders burned their No. 23 jerseys and dragged them behind their cars. Lue worked as a General Assignment Reporter, Breaking News Reporter, Traffic Reporter, and Morning Anchor at WEWS.
Lue was raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Her journalism career began before I even finished high school. At the age of 15, she anchored and reported for “Brookwood Upclose,” a syndicated series focusing on local events and issues affecting Atlanta’s youth. Lue won my first international journalism award when she was 16 for a documentary she made about a local shelter for troubled youth.
She is an Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. member as well as a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
Her first real TV job took me to West Virginia’s hills, to NBC station WVVA. I did it all in West Virginia. During the week, she reported, and on weekends, she anchored, produced, and reported for my own newscast.
Lue spoke with several notable figures, including Dr. Phil and Homer Hickam, a former NASA engineer who inspired the 1999 film “October Sky.” During the Virginia Tech massacre, she stood shoulder to shoulder with the best in the country, delivering live reports for MSNBC and local station WVVA.
