Sheena Parveen is a well-known American journalist, she is currently working at NBC 7 as a meteorologist. Before joining the station she worked at NBC 10 where she was the weekday evening meteorologist.

Sheena has forecasted and covered everything from hurricanes to tornadoes to blizzards in her career. Some of the most memorable weather events Sheena covered included Hurricane Sandy making landfall on the Jersey Shore, the 2016 blizzard that required round-the-clock coverage for several days, and the 2013 EF5 tornado that destroyed an elementary school in Moore, Oklahoma.
Parveen began her on-air meteorology career at WCTV in Tallahassee right out of college, then moved on to Fox13 in Tampa. She desired a change after spending her entire life in the sunshine state of Florida. Sheena moved to NBC10 in Philadelphia as their weekday evening meteorologist in 2012, where she stayed for the next five years.
As an avid lover of water sports, which were difficult to find in Philadelphia, she ordered a paddleboard from San Diego and had it shipped across the country, which she describes as the “best decision ever.” Sheena left NBC4 in Washington, DC after five years and quickly learned how to adjust to a morning schedule before moving to San Diego.
