Tim Weiner is an American journalist, he is known for being a reporter and author. He is the author of five books and also the winner of the Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award.

Weiner’s reporting and writing on national security and intelligence has earned him the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award. For The New York Times, he covered the CIA, the Afghan war, and crises and conflicts in fourteen countries. Weiner has taught history and writing at Columbia and Princeton. His sixth novel is The Folly and the Glory.
