Veronica Cintron is an American journalist, she is known for working at Tampa International Airport as the Vice President of Communications. Before joining the station she worked Spectrum Bay News 9 as an anchor for the last ten years.

Veronica has received numerous awards, including the Tampa Hispanic Heritage Leadership Award, the USF Hispanic Heritage Service Award, the Watermark Favorite News Anchor WAVE Award, and the Puerto Rican Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Polk County’s Viva Polk Fest Parade Grand Marshal title.
All year long, she contributes her time to worthwhile causes and organizations. As a proud member of the Athena Society, the USF Alumni Association, and a recent graduate of the Homeland Security Investigations Citizens Academy, Veronica serves on the boards of Tampa Hispanic Heritage Inc. and the Alzheimer’s Association 2021 Gala Committee.
