The crooks made their getaway with duffel bags stuffed with cash, gold, silver, stamps, coins, diamonds, and high-end jewelry.
The loot’s full worth has always been kept hidden, partly because it was ill-gotten in the first place, and partly because there was plenty of incentive to keep it hidden.
