He has reported on the large-scale aftermath of many major news events, as well as the toll on communities. He began her career as an intern at ABC affiliate WSB-TV before becoming a general assignment reporter for KOAT Albuquerque. Carr reported for KOAT on the Mexican border’s arms trafficking rings and record-breaking fires. In 2011, he was named New Mexico Broadcasters Association Reporter of the Year for his outstanding breaking news coverage and investigative reporting.
