Collins Morikawa Career
Morikawa played collegiate golf while he was in the university. in 2018 he was ranked as the top golfer in the World Amateur Golf Ranking for 3 weeks straight. He made his professional debut in 2019 in the RBC Canadian Open where he tied for 14th place. In July he manage to tier for second place at the 3M Open. At the Barracuda Championship Collins won his first PGA Tour.
12 July 2020 Morikawa won his second PGA Title at the Workday Charity Open. Morikawa won the 2020 PGA Championship on August 9, becoming the first Japanese player to win a major in only his second major championship appearance. When Morikawa won the PGA Championship at the age of 23, he became the third-youngest golfer to do it. Morikawa was also the fourth golfer under the age of 24 to win the PGA Championship.
Morikawa won the WGC-Workday Championship in 2021 on February 28 at The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Florida. Morikawa beat Billy Horschel, Viktor Hovland, and Brooks Koepka by three strokes.
