Adnan Virk Biography
Adnan Virk is a Canadian sportscaster, he is known for working at MLB Network and DAZN. Before joining the network he worked at ESPN, TSN, The Score and WWE. He also has his own podcast which he covers cinema news and interviews with entertainment celebrities.

Virk served as an associate producer for TSN’s Sportscentre from 2003 to 2009 and presented a number of shows on The Score during that time. At Omni Television, he co-hosted the shows Omniculture and Bollywood Boulevard. He began working with Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment (MLSE) in 2009 as a host and reporter for Gol TV Canada, Leafs TV, and Raptors TV.
Virk joined the ESPN radio network in Bristol, Connecticut, in April 2010. He joined ESPN and quickly rose to become one of Baseball Tonight’s three primary anchors. He started doing play-by-play for an ESPN affiliate during spring training in 2014. He hosted Outside the Lines and SportsCenter during the off-season for baseball. On Olbermann, he would also step in for Keith Olbermann. He was the ESPN host of the film podcast Cinephile. He also hosted the College Football Final and served as ESPN College Football’s primary studio presenter.
In March 2019, it was revealed that Virk would be the host of the brand-new MLB studio show ChangeUp for the London-based subscription streaming platform DAZN. Virk also had an appearance on MLB Network. He emceed boxing matches as well. In the days immediately before the 2020 MLB season, ChangeUp was discontinued. In 2022, his agreement with DAZN came to an end. Currently, he co-hosts MLB Tonight and contributes to the NHL Network.
Tom Phillips would be replaced as the play-by-play commentator for Monday Night Raw by Virk, it was announced on April 12, 2021. However, six weeks later, on May 25, he and the company amicably split ways after receiving a poor response from the public because Adnan felt the schedule was too demanding for him and his family. In his place, Jimmy Smith took over.
