Bri Winkler is an American journalist, she is currently working at ABC 7 as a weather reporter. She previously worked at n Amarillo, Texas at KAMR-TV where she worked for three years.

Bri reviewed consumer products on the network’s Does It Work show, in addition to informing and educating the public about weather conditions.
Bri is currently employed as an ABC7 Eyewitness News morning meteorologist. She began working for the publication in 2011 and has held various positions. She has worked on local radio shows and has appeared on Good Morning America in addition to reporting weather news.
Bri announced her departure from television in July 2017 to return to school. The broadcaster revealed in an Instagram message that she was temporarily foregoing her lucrative salary at ABC7 to pursue a Masters Degree in Environmental Science. Winkler’s departure left a significant void at the station, but her colleague and weekend anchor Leslie Lopez has successfully taken over until she returns in a fill-in capacity.

Bri Winkler Stroke
Bri had a stroke in 2012, when she was 24 years old. Bri has abbreviated the signs as F.A.S.T. (Face drooping, Arm weakness, Speech Difficulty, and Time to Call 911) because she experienced early warning signs but did nothing.
Bri explained that the sign became apparent after a week and she called her friend, who immediately called an ambulance. Following the results of the tests, she was informed that she had blood clots in her brain and that her Carotid artery was torn. She recovered two days after treatment. Her late grandmother died of a stroke at the age of 76. Since her recovery, she has devoted her spare time to raising awareness of stroke.
Bri is an ambassador for the American Stroke Association in addition to her journalism career. She shares her story and experience as a survivor of strong at fundraisers and conferences. Bri covered the Academy Awards live from the red carpet in 2016. The Azusa Police Department challenged her that year to complete 22 pushups to raise public awareness of the impact of suicide.
