Chris Stark is a British presenter, he is known for working at as a co-host on the Scott Mills show on BBC Radio 1. Stark later departed in 2022, and currently works as a co-presenter on Capital Breakfast.

Prior to this, Stark intermittently made appearances on the Scott Mills show as “Scott’s friend Chris.” Stark officially joined the program on April 2, 2012. Stark took part in most of the ongoing segments of the program, such as Real or No Real, Innuendo Bingo, 24 Years at the Tap End, and Bamboleo Wednesday.
The movie 24 Years at the Tap End, in which Stark reads passages from his “autobiography,” is well known. After reading Coach Trip’s Brendan Sheerin’s autobiography, he was initially motivated to pen his own.
The title alludes to his on-air epiphany at the age of 24 that he had spent his entire life sitting at the “wrong” end of the bath. The premiere episode debuted on November 11, 2011.
In order to do an interview with American actress Mila Kunis for the Scott Mills Show, Stark was dispatched with ten minutes’ notice to a media junket for the movie Oz the Great and Powerful in March 2013.
When Stark asked Kunis about the movie in the kindest possible way, “In the nicest possible way, did you enjoy being ugly for once?,” he was referring to the fact that Kunis’ character Theodora turns into the Wicked Witch of the West.
It was revealed in July 2022 that Stark would join Capital Breakfast in the fall, joining Roman Kemp and Sian Welby. His presenting duties began on October 10, 2022.
