Hazel Sanchez is an American media personality, she is currently working for PIX 11 as an anchor. Before joining the station she was weekend anchor at WBAY-TV in Green Bay, Wis. Sanchez joined the PIX 11 news team in 2021.

On weekdays, Sanchez anchors the PIX11 Morning News from 6 to 10 a.m. Hazel worked as a general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor at CBS New York until joining the PIX11 News team in 2021. She was a weekend anchor at WBAY-TV in Green Bay, Wisconsin, before joining WCBS-TV in 2000. She also worked at WISN-TV in Milwaukee as a news cut-in anchor and associate producer.
Sanchez has received both a New York Emmy and a Midwest Emmy. Her work has also received CINE Golden Eagle honors and commendation from the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association. She is, a proud Filipino American, was named one of the “Top 100 Most Influential Filipinas in the United States” by the Filipina Women’s Network in 2009.
She got the Outstanding Filipinos in America Award in 2017. (TOFA). TOFA designated her one of the Top 100 Most Influential Filipino Americans in 2020.
